Chicago Bulls’ Gordon “Hamstrung”

Posted by Jimmy Johnson Monday, April 27, 2009

The Chicago Bulls are breathing a sigh of relief.

When the Chicago Bulls defeated the Boston Celtics 121-118 in double OT last night–barely covering at -2.5 in the process–two-guard Ben Gordon heard a “pop.”

The man who tied it up for the Bulls in the dying seconds of the first OT sustained a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the game and had an MRI earlier today.

According to ESPN, Gordon is only day to day with a strained hamstring.
