Before the tournament begins on Thursday, Woods and Nicklaus will make some history. For only the second time in competition, Woods and Nicklaus will be paired together Wednesday in the Memorial Skins Game.

The last time the two were paired together was the 2000 PGA Championship, won by, of course, Woods. The two best in history (yes, they are) will be joined on Wednesday by Stewart Cink and Kenny Perry. The other foursome features Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas and Padraig Harrington.

Next week is the St. Jude Classic, the final tune-up for the U.S. Open, beginning on June 18th. Justin Leonard captured the 2008 event in Memphis and remember, John Daly's back next week.
